Washington State quarterback Luke Falk has been carted off the field and is being examined for a head injury.
Update: Asked about Luke Falk’s status, WSU head coach Mike Leach said “next question” several times then threatened to walk out.
Update: ESPN sideline reporter said he was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital and was alert and talking to doctors on his way there.

Falk was sacked hard by Colorado defensive tackle Sampson Kafovalu in the third quarter and his head snapped back and hit the turf hard.
This marks the second consecutive week that Falk has had to leave the game after taking a hard, head-jarring hit.
The hit appeared to knock Falk out. The quarterback lay on his back, unmoving at first. Sideline reporter Jessamyn McIntyre reported that he was unconscious for a few seconds before he came to and moved his hands.
A hush descended upon Martin Stadium as the Cougars’ medical staff surrounded Falk, unscrewed his facemask and slid him onto a backboard to immobilize his head and spine.
But as he was loaded onto a cart and driven into the locker room, Falk flashed two thumbs up and moved his hands as if imploring the crowd to cheer louder.
