Washington State quarterback Luke Falk and Washington QB Jake Browning are among 18 semifinalists for The Maxwell Award, which goes to the College Player of the Year.

Falk Browning and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey are the only Pac-12 players on the semifinalist list.

Falk also picked up another weekly honor Monday when he was named the Rose Bowl’s Pac-12 Player of the Week for his 415-yard, five-touchdown performance against Oregon State on Saturday. The Cougars won 35-31.

Browning last week rose to No. 2 on Sports Illustrated’s and ESPN’s Heisman Trophy watch lists. That was before No. 4 Washington remained undefeated with a 31-24 win over then-No. 17 Utah on Saturday.
