It took the Husky offense just three plays to score its first touchdown of the season Saturday, with sophomore quarterback Jake Browning connecting with fellow sophomore Chico McClatcher deep down the right sideline against Rutgers.

Facing third-and-four at Husky Stadium, McClatcher beat his defender down the sideline and Browning hit his receiver in stride. McClatcher ran the final few yards into the end zone.

On the previous play, John Ross III caught his first pass — a 2-yarder — since missing last season with a knee injury.

The three-play drive took 1 minute, 15 seconds.
