The Washington Huskies rose four spots to No. 13 and the Washington State Cougars dropped eight spots to No. 21 in The Associated Press Top 25 released Sunday morning, a day after the Huskies’ 41-14 rout in the Apple Cup at Husky Stadium.
Both teams now await their postseason destination, to be announced next weekend.
The Huskies are almost certainly heading to the Alamo Bowl or the Holiday Bowl after finishing the regular season with a 10-2 record (7-2 Pac-12). It’s the first time since 1990-91 that the program has had consecutive 10-win seasons.
The Cougars (9-3, 6-3) could be headed to the Foster Farms Bowl after missing out on a chance to win their first Pac-12 North title.
