UW finally lands a second wide receiver in this recruiting class with the addition of Jordan Chin.

Jordan Chin, a three-star wide receiver from Chaminade Prep in West Hill, Calif., made a verbal commitment to Washington on Sunday night, bolstering the Huskies’ thin wide receiver corps.

Chin, 6-feet-2 and 170 pounds, had 37 receptions for 601 yards and five touchdowns in nine games as a senior. In announcing his commitment on Twitter, he said it was a “dream” to play for the Huskies. He’s making his official visit to UW this weekend.

After missing out on several other more high-profile wide receiver recruits, the Huskies offered Chin a scholarship last week. Chin had made a verbal commitment to San Diego State earlier this month before backing out of that.

Chin is the second wide receiver in UW’s class, joining Aaron Fuller of Allen, Texas, who committed last summer.

With 17 recruits committed, the Huskies have just about filled out their 2016 class, though they could still try to make room for one or two several high-profile recruits still considering UW, including De La Salle teammates Devin Asiasi and Boss Tagaloa.
