The Washington women’s basketball team rounded out its regular season road schedule with back-to-back wins, taking down Minnesota 72-62 Wednesday at Williams Arena in Minneapolis.

It marked the fifth all-time win over the Gophers in six overall meetings, as the Huskies (17-12, 8-9 Big Ten) handed the home team its fourth loss of the year inside Williams Arena.

Elle Ladine led all scorers with 26, her third straight 25-point-plus game. She was 10-of-13 shooting (76.9%) and a made all four of her three-pointers. She added five rebounds and two assists.

Dalayah Daniels had 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Sayvia Sellers and Hannah Stines each scored 11.

The Golden Gophers (20-9, 8-9) had three players score in double figures, led by Grace Grocholski, who had 13 points. Annika Stewart scored 13 points and Mallory Heyer had 10 points and eight rebounds.

Ladine and Coppinger combined for 13 of the Huskies’ 23 points in the second quarter as Washington outscored the Gophers 23-16.

Washington held Minnesota to 11 third-quarter points while registering 24 of its own, connecting on 10 of 14 shots (71.4%). Hannah Stines hit a three-pointer from the midcourt logo to beat the quarter buzzer and lead the Huskies into the final 10 minutes of play.

The Gophers heated up late in the fourth with a 14-2 run, cutting a double-digit Husky lead to five before Ladine hit a three-pointer to extend the game to 68-60 and seal the deal.

Washington returns to Alaska Airlines Arena for its final regular-season game against Oregon at 2 p.m. Sunday for Senior Day.
