Sam Timmins, who signed with the Huskies, is taking an official visit to Washington and attended Sunday’s game.

The 6-10, 278-pound New Zealand center with enroll at UW in January and practice with the team, but will not play this season.

“I just like looking at him,” Romar said. “Stand there Sam. Wow. He’s a … when we measured him barefoot he was right at 6-10. With shoes, I’d say he’s 6-10 1/2 or 6-11. (He’s) 278 pounds and when you look at him you don’t think he’s 278 pounds. It just shows how well proportioned he is.”
