The Seattle Storm announced Monday a new television and streaming deal as they will switch to KOMO and KUNS for local broadcasts.

Thirteen games will be broadcast on KOMO (ABC), which is Ch. 4 in the Seattle market. KUNS (CW) will broadcast the rest of the 44-game schedule.

The Storm also have a streaming options including YouTube TV and Hulu Live.

The Storm tip off the season on May 17 on the road against the Phoenix Mercury.

Grand Prix coming to Seafair

Seafair announced Monday they will again have a second class of race boats to go with the unlimited hydroplanes.

Grand Prix America Hydroplanes is joining the racing weekend at Seafair, the first time since the pandemic Seafair has fielded a second class of race boats. The F1 Tunnel boats were the undercard at Seafair from 2012-19.

The unlimited hydroplane races are Aug 1-3 on Lake Washington.

• Washington State’s Alice Johansson shot a 36-hole total of 3-over par to finish the first day of the Olympic Club Invitational in San Francisco in a tie for fifth place. Gonzaga’s Grace Lee was tied for first at even par.

• Seattle U’s Kevin Li shot a 1-under 141 over 36 holes and finished tied for fourth place after the opening day of the Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay in University Place.

The Redhawks were in eighth place overall out of 18 teams.
