The Sounders have a somewhat unusual and lighter work schedule ahead of this Saturday’s match at FC Dallas. The squad took Monday off to tour Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and though the players returned to the practice field on Tuesday morning, it was for a light-hearted, regeneration session.

“We wanted to enjoy ourselves,” Seattle coach Sigi Schmid said, adding that they’d up the intensity on Wednesday before departing for Texas on Thursday.

The Sounders have won four of six matches after starting the season 0-3-0.
