The last time I joined Reddit’s Sounders FC community for a Q-and-A session, the team was off to an 0-3 start and on its way to the most prolonged slump in the club’s MLS history. Suffice it to say the tone was a bit different on Monday afternoon, when I kicked off MLS Cup week by answering some of the burning questions — AMA stands for Ask Me Anything — ahead of Seattle’s first appearance in the league championship game.

Will the Sounders pull it off? Who deserves the bulk of the credit for the team’s midseason turnaround? Will Clint Dempsey be back in 2017? My educated guesses are below.
