Pete Carroll’s tenure as Seahawks coach won’t be forgotten by Seattle sports fans anytime soon.

Shortly after his arrival in 2010, Carroll quickly built one of the best defenses ever and guided the Seahawks, headlined by a boisterous nucleus of players and quarterback Russell Wilson, to a championship with their 2014 Super Bowl victory.

Though there have been only three playoff wins and two division titles since the Seahawks lost the Super Bowl the following season, Carroll’s run — which included 10 playoff berths — was possibly the most successful for any coach in Seattle’s major pro sports history, giving fans ample opportunity to celebrate across the past 14 years.
