After going three straight drafts without selecting a player in the first round, the Seahawks finally got in on the action Thursday, addressing a clear need on the offensive line by taking Germain Ifedi from Texas A&M with the No. 31 pick, acquired in a trade with Denver.

The pick was met with both critisicm and praise on social media. Some fans were relieved just to see Seattle fill a position of need, while others were upset at the team for passing up on star linebacker and local hero Myles Jack.
