The pick was met with both critisicm and praise on social media. Some fans were relieved just to see Seattle fill a position of need, while others were upset at the team for passing up on star linebacker and local hero Myles Jack.

All in all, fans and media members were most impressed by the Hawks’ ability to add a third-round pick, while still adding value in the first round.
