The Seahawks took an early 7-0 lead in their final preseason game against the Oakland Raiders on Thursday night at CenturyLink Field when Russell Wilson connected with rookie Tyler Lockett on a 63-yard touchdown pass.
It’s the first touchdown for the No. 1 offense this preseason. Quarterback Russell Wilson and the No. 1 offensive line started the game, with the starting skill players remaining on the sideline.
On 2nd-and-10 from the Seahawks’ 37-yard line, Wilson dropped back, quickly looked to his right and then turned and threw to Lockett, who had gotten separation from the cornerback down the left sideline. The rookie from Kansas State caught the pass in stride and ran untouched into the end zone.
Steven Hauschka’s point-after attempt was good, giving the Seahawks a 7-0 lead and ending Wilson’s night on a positive.
