Postgame coverage

Rams tackle Aaron Donald had three tackles for a loss, including two sacks, and three quarterback hurries to lead a Rams defensive front seven that had the Seahawks’ Russell Wilson on the run for most of the game.

Play of the game

Trailing 31-24 with 59 seconds remaining, Rams quarterback Nick Foles connected with tight end Lance Kendricks on a 37-yard touchdown pass to tie the score at 31. Seahawks strong safety Dion Bailey, starting in place of holdout Kam Chancellor, fell down on the play, leaving Kendricks wide open.

Turning point

Steven Hauschka’s mistaken onside kick to start overtime gave the Rams good field position, and they marched 30 yards in six plays to set up Greg Zuerlein’s go-ahead 37-yard FG.

By the numbers

51: Yards receiving, on six catches, for tight end Jimmy Graham in his Seattle debut

85: Yards receiving, on five catches, by Rams tight end Jared Cook

55: Third-down conversion percentage (6 for 11) by the Rams

Quote of the day

“Maybe for the fair-weather fans or the people who don’t believe. There will be a lot of chatter about (holdout) Kam (Chancellor) and all of that kind of stuff. But we’ve got to keep our motivation the same and keep grinding the way we do.” — Michael Bennett, Seahawks defensive lineman, on whether the Seahawks  should be concerned after the defeat Sunday
