Michael Bennett might not sound like Russell Wilson, but he can do a heck of an impression of the Seahawks quarterback on the field.

Remember that time Michael Bennett tried to pass as Russell Wilson in order to get a table at a local restaurant? New to town in 2013, Bennett was having trouble getting a table, so he called in posing as Wilson.

Obviously the jig was up once they got to the restaraunt, but as Bennett recalls, the hosts were anxiously awaiting Wilson’s arrival.

“She took me to the table and they had it roped off,” Bennett said. “They had sparkling water and everything.”

As the saying goes, “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,” which is exactly what Bennett did on Thursday.

With some time to kill in Hawaii ahead of Sunday’s Pro Bowl, the always jovial Bennett tried his best to imitate Wilson’s ankle-breaking quarterback moves, and he was surprisingly spot on.

From the looks of this video, Bennett has Wilson’s signature moves nailed.

Not bad, eh?
