Last week, Richard Sherman and Michael Bennett voiced support for Kaepernick, while Jeremy Lane sat during the national anthem on Thursday night in Oakland. Meanwhile, Doug Baldwin took to Twitter on Friday to comment on what has become a polarizing national debate.
In a series of tweets, Baldwin posed several thought-provoking questions and comments. One such question read, “We honor those who fight for our right to freedom of speech and then condemn those who exercise that right?”
