The Seahawks have assigned jersey numbers to their 10 draft picks. And nope, none of them is wearing Marshawn Lynch's 24, which the team has said will go unused this season.
The Seahawks have assigned jersey numbers to the 10 players selected in last weekend’s NFL Draft.
And as Doug Baldwin requested, none of them is wearing Marshawn Lynch’s former 24 (and also as Seahawks GM John Schneider had promised on Monday).
One of the draft picks — running back Zac Brooks of Clemson — wore 24 in college. But he will now wear No. 30 with the Seahawks, according to the roster on the team’s web site.
Here is a look at other rookies and their numbers:

OL Germain Ifedi: Ifedi will wear 76, worn since 2010 by Russell Okung.
DT Jarran Reed: No. 93.
RB C.J. Prosise: Prosise will wear 22, which seems fitting given that was the number worn from 2012-14 by Robert Turbin and then last season by Fred Jackson, the players who most recently held the role of third-down running back that Prosise could fill this season.
TE Nick Vannett: No. 81, a number maybe most associated recently with Golden Tate.
OL Rees Odhiambo: No. 70.
DT Quinton Jefferson: Jefferson will wear No. 92, worn most recently by Brandon Mebane, whose role as a run-stuffing DT Jefferson will help fill.
RB Alex Collins: No. 36.
C Joey Hunt: No. 53.
WR Kenny Lawler: Lawler will wear No. 11, a number maybe most associated recently with Percy Harvin.
RB Zac Brooks: No. 30.
Also, Chris Clemons will wear No. 90 in his return to Seattle instead of the 91 he wore previously. That number is now held by Cassius Marsh.
