The Seattle Seahawks wasted little time in jumping to an early 7-0 lead against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at CenturyLink Field, as quarterback Russell Wilson connected with rookie receiver Tyler Lockett on a 24-yard touchdown pass to cap their first possession of the game.

The Seahawks had the ball on first-and-10 at the 49ers’ 24-yard line. Quarterback Russell Wilson took the snap in shotgun formation and lofted the ball to the right side of the field to Lockett, who caught it in stride as he crossed the goal line.

The touchdown capped a six-play, 61-yard drive, on which Wilson was 3 for 3 for 44 yards.
