Glazer said Lynch is working on his core strength after having had surgery on his abdomen on Nov.25 and that “more than anything” they are “trying to get the fight back with Marshawn” noting that this is the first surgery he has had.

Glazer said the trainer is “hoping” to get Lynch back “by the end of the regular season.”

Seattle coach Pete Carroll last week gave no specific timeline for Lynch’s return but said they hope to get him back this season.

Said Carroll Monday: “He went through a big surgery. He’s got a lot to get through, and he’s got to get past that, whatever impact that’s had. He’s got to get back into shape and get going. It’ll have been, we’re at three weeks from his surgery today, I think, and he hasn’t been able to go yet very hard. He’s going to have to work through that and get himself going again, and come back and show that he’s back and ready to go.”
