Just a few weeks after looking like a longshot to make the postseason, the Seattle Seahawks can actually clinch a playoff spot on Sunday, with two games remaining.

Here, straight from the NFL, are the five ways in which the Seahawks can clinch a Wild Card playoff spot this weekend.

1, A Seahawks win against Cleveland plus a Tampa Bay loss or tie against St. Louis plus a New York Giants loss or tie against Carolina.

2, A Seahawks win plus a Tampa Bay loss or tie plus a Washington loss or tie against Buffalo.

3, A Seahawks win plus a Tampa Bay loss or tie plus an Atlanta loss or tie against Jacksonville plus a Minnesota loss against the Bears and a Green Bay loss or tie against Oakland.

4, A Seahawks tie plus an Atlanta loss or tie and a New York Giants loss or tie.

5, A Seahawks tie, plus a Tampa Bay loss plus an Atlanta loss or tie plus a Washington loss plus a Philadelphia loss or tie against Arizona.

Got that?

But while any of those will get Seattle into the playoffs they don’t guarantee the Seahawks the preferred No. 5 spot in the NFC so the Seahawks won’t consider their work done quite yet. Seattle, which has won four in a row to improve to 8-5, needs to finish tied or ahead of Minnesota, which is also 8-5 entering the weekend, to get the No.5 spot.

Seattle’s post-season situation can also take on some added clarity this weekend as the Arizona Cardinals have three scenarios in which they can win the NFC West, guaranteeing that the best the Seahawks can do is get a Wild Card berth.

Again, straight from the NFL, here those are:

1, And Arizona win or tie.

2, A Seattle loss or tie.

3, Arizona clinches due to the strength of victory tiebreaker. Arizona can do that this weekend if all of the following happens — Cincinnati and New Orleans win and Dallas and the Steelers lose.

Arizona can also clinch a first-round bye with a win plus a Green Bay loss or tie or a tie and a Green Bay loss.
