The Seahawks capitalized on key turnovers to take a late lead, but the Rams evened things up to force overtime and steal the victory Sunday in St. Louis.
Bob Condotta:Â It ended as many had thought it might — the St. Louis defensive line overwhelming the Seahawks at the point of attack. Of everything that happened, the way Seattle was pounded at times up front will linger.
Jayson Jenks:Â The offensive line remains a question mark. The Seahawks gave up six sacks against the Rams’ talented defensive line and could have allowed more. On fourth-and-1 in overtime, on the deciding play, the line couldn’t create any room for running back Marshawn Lynch. The biggest question mark heading into the season remains one.
Matt Calkins: Reality set in on the Seahawks today — from the offensive-line woes, to coaching gaffes, to special-teams breakdowns, to defensive mishaps — this team has a long way to go.
