Former University of Washington receiver Kasen Williams, in a battle for one of the final Seahawks roster spots, made his case during the second half of Thursday night’s preseason game against the Oakland Raiders at CenturyLink Field.

The Seahawks led 17-14 and had the ball on 3rd-and-goal at the Raiders’ 15-yard line. Quarterback B.J. Daniels, in the shotgun formation, took the snap and lofted a nice pass toward the back-left corner of the end zone. Williams fought off the cornerback at the goal line and pulled away for a moment, enough to run under the ball and make a nice catch while falling to the ground.
After the converted extra-point attempt, the Seahawks led 24-14.
