Bcr Beat the Traffic was a solid fourth last month in his first race after a long layoff and is one of two in this field with experience at Emerald. Mr Easy Okie has won his past three races, but has been off since October. A Distant Memory was in good form last fall in Portland and can win if he’s ready after a long layoff.

|SCR||Warren’s Rock Art||Scratched||–||–|
|3||Fiesty Lass||E Kubinova||6-1||123|
Famous Jessica faded badly after chasing a hot pace in her last race, but she gets a better post today and she has won at this distance. Sun City has been in the money in 26 of 36 races at Emerald and she has been second 10 times at this distance. Angels Can Be Wild was second at 22-1 in her last start.
|3 5 ½ furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500|
|6||Purple Hays||A Snguinetti||2-1||117|
|5||Devils Dragonfly||M Hardison||6-1||118|
|3||Miss Top Nite||L Gonzalez||10-1||123|
Fantasyville has won nine times at Emerald and had a nice workout last week in preparation for her first start since January. Her 15 career wins (in 59 starts) is more than the rest of the field combined. Purple Hays is in good form, unlike most of the rest of the horses in this field. Devil’s Dragonfly was pulled up in her last race last month, but she fits well with this group.
|4 6 furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming weight for age $5,000|

|3||Carl Command||L Gonzalez||6-1||118|
|6||Mister Q. P.||R Bowen||6-1||124|
|9||Real Premium||N Chaves||9-2||124|
Spending finds a soft spot in his ninth try at getting his first win. Shuddle was just more than a length behind the top pick in his last race. Wisest Cat has not raced in two years, so he is a real question mark.

|2||War Wizard||D Lopez||2-1||124|
|1||Lit’l in Din Boy||R Richard||7-2||124|
Buddy Dave drops in class and there should be enough early pace to set up his closing kick. War Wizard scratched out of a race last weekend to run in this one. Rockmystar has won four of his 12 starts at Emerald.
|6 6 ½ furlongs, purse $13,750, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $17,500/$15,000|

|2||Just Have’n Fun||J Whitaker||10-1||119|
|SCR||River of Aces||Scratched||–||–|
|5||Mum’s Joke||D Lopez||6-1||119|
Stephanie Plum is in good form and will likely get the early lead. Roarified has won 9 of 13 starts at Emerald, but takes a big jump up in class. Private Fortune hasn’t raced since September, but she fits well at this level.
|7 5 ½ furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500|
|1||Kool Comic||R Bowen||5-2||124|
|4||Seven Demons||E Kubinova||3-1||124|
Freedomslastknight was in a tough group for this level in his last race, but could surprise today. Kool Comic can improve after finishing fourth as the 3-5 favorite last month. Nene has been in solid form and makes his first career start at Emerald.
Best bet: Buddy Dave
