First three horses listed in each race in order of predicted finish.
First race: 2 p.m.
|1 Four furlongs, purse $4,000, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $5,000|
|5||Dashin Baby Boy||L Camacho-Flores||2||125|
|6||Kiss Me G Bye||D Hoonan||8/5||125|
|1||Mr Speedygonzalez||J Zunino||6||123|
|2||Long Hollow||L Lopez||5||125|
|3||Ncc Shakool||C Doll||10||125|
|4||Ba Truly Impatient||J Rosales||8||125|
Dashin Baby Boy seems due for a win. Kiss Me G Bye is ridden by Debbie Hoonan, who has excelled in Quarter Horse races (six wins and four seconds in 15 starts). Mr Speedygonzalez isn’t real consistent, but has a chance if it’s one of his good days.

|3||Port Wakefield||J Whitaker||2||123|

Port Wakefield likes to win (six wins in 14 starts) and takes a slight drop in class after a nice victory. Seattle Game has a great record at Emerald (12 wins in 26 starts), but she will face pace pressure today. Move her in front of the top pick if the track is sloppy. Grand Baylee will be rallying late.
|3 51/2 furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500|
|3||Denim and Diamonds||D Lopez||3||123|
|2||Pete’s Glory Girl||E Kubinova||2||123|
|5||Stolen Forum||L Camacho-Flores||9/2||123|
|1||Courtney’s Prize||D Hoonan||6||123|
|4||Angel Unaware||I Enriquez||4||123|
|6||Fly Away||N Chaves||10||123|
Denim and Diamonds is winless in 11 tries, including as the favorite in three of her past six races, but she still has a slight edge in a very weak field. Pete’s Glory Girl, an 8-year-old with 11 career wins at Emerald, also has a great chance. Stolen Forum can get into the trifecta, but she won’t be 99-1 like she was in her last race.
|4 6 furlongs, purse $17,850, 2-year-old, fillies, maiden special weight|
|4||Timeless Pleasure||R Bowen||5/2||117|
|5||Quiet Wisdom||N Chaves||4||117|
|7||Guinevere’s Finale||J Matias||8||117|
|1||Sanibel Harbor||D Hoonan||3||117|
|2||Forever a Fan||I Enriquez||7/2||117|
|6||Not a Love Song||R Richard||6||117|
SCRATCHED: All for Beauty.
This is a great race, with several of these young fillies having a chance to be really good. Northwest Farms and trainer Tom Wenzel send out Timeless Pleasure (a $150,000 yearling purchase at Keeneland, Ky.) and the well-bred Quiet Wisdom out for their career debuts. Wenzel excels with young horses. Another first-timer, Guenivere’s Finale, could come out running.
|5 6 furlongs, purse $5,675, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $4,000|
|3||Expenses Paid||D Lopez||7/2||124|
|1||Big Black Cat||L Camacho-Flores||4||118|
|6||Strong Move||R Bowen||8||124|
|2||West Jet||D Hoonan||3||118|
|4||Mojave Secret||I Enriquez||8/5||118|
Expenses Paid is a 4-year-old facing mainly 3-year-olds, and he is dropping in class. There is a lot of early speed in this race, and he can run past tiring horses late. Big Black Cat will also be rallying late. Strong Move is a threat if he can get clear early.
|6 1 mile, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, claiming $2,500|
|8||Kaitlans Song||I Enriquez||9/5||118|
|6||Sharp Focus||R Bowen||5/2||124|
|1||Run Atom||J Whitaker||12||124|
|2||Diamond Peak||E Kubinova||8||118|
|3||This Lad Is Gold||L Camacho-Flores||12||124|
|4||Evil Urges||M Iammarino||10||124|
|5||Galway Guinness||R Richard||10||118|
|7||Danger Ranger||D Lopez||9/2||124|
Kaitlans Song will be tough if he doesn’t get forced too wide around the first turn from his outside post. Sharp Focus drops in class, but it’s uncertain if he can handle this distance. Run Atom has had success at this distance.
|7 61/2 furlongs, purse $11,650, 3-year-old, fillies, claiming $12,500/$10,000|
|1||Agoodlawyer Willdo||J Whitaker||9/5||117|
|4||Premo Jewel||I Enriquez||7/2||117|
|2||Strange Luck||J Zunino||4||121|
|3||Society Girl||J Rosales||5||117|
|5||Kamilche Gold||D Hoonan||12||117|
|6||Inquiry Miss||N Chaves||3||121|
Agoodlawyer WIlldo has been a disappointment for much of her career but seems to have figured things out with the two best races of her career, and she has not been worse than second in her past four starts. Premo Jewel drops in class as does Strange Luck, whose last race should be thrown out because of a dreadful start.
|8 6 furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, maiden claiming $5,000|
|3||Stylish Margin||D Hoonan||7/2||117|
|4||Special Buttons||J Matias||2||123|
|2||Top Kat Miss||C Doll||3||117|
|1||Parkers Pirate||L Camacho-Flores||4||117|
|5||Charismatic Hope||D Lopez||8||123|
Stylish Margin gets jockey Debbie Hoonan back and cuts back in distance. She could pull off an upset. Special Buttons ran a dud as the 4-5 favorite in her last race, but she could rebound against this weak field. Top Kat Miss has not been worse than fourth in five career starts.
BEST BET: Kaitlans Song.
