Ez Seis Me ran the best race of his career two weeks ago. Cartel Madam has been in the money in five of six career starts. Sensor has showed some ability in Portland.

2 Istishaary R Richard 10-1 125
4 Cascade Dynamite M Hagerty 6-1 125
5 Berkley Gal Camacho-Flrs 3-1 125

Seventy East is perfect in two tries at this distance. Seven Demons has been off for more than a year but has been working out OK and this distance will suit him. Fast Intention won his only start at Emerald, but he likes shorter distances.

1 Take Point I Enriquez 2-1 120

2 Merry Sherry J Gutierrez 5-1 117
5 Femmina Pesante D Lopez 5-2 117
6 My Cadi J Zunino 15-1 117

Take Point might find the early lead in a paceless race, and that would make her dangerous. Better to Be Lucky drops to a career-low level. Sechura drops in class for her first race of the year, but her lack of early speed is a concern.

4 6 furlongs, purse $6,725, 3-year-old, fillies, maiden claiming $7,500

7 Storm Inthe Harbor R Richard 10-1 121
8 Mrs Jonesy and Me C Papineau 8-1 121
9 Exclusive Queen D Hoonan 8-1 121

My Halo Is Rusty can atone for losing as the even-money favorite in her last race. Plum Naked was a strong third in her only career start at Golden Gate in Northern California in March. First-time starter Sunshine Candy has leading rider Juan Gutierrez riding her.

3 Expenses Paid E Kubinova 3-1 124
4 Risky Road Sanguinetti 2-1 118
2 Our Blend R Bowen 5-2 124
1 Regal Valid I Enriquez 4-1 124
Galway Guinness Scratched
5 Indy Time Camacho-Flrs 5-1 124

Expenses Paid is very consistent, and his usual race should give her a good chance against this group. Risky Road has been facing much better competition at Golden Gate. Our Blend drops in class to a more reasonable level.

6 6 ½ furlongs, purse $4,725, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $2,500

3 Wedge of Gold D Hoonan 2-1 123

4 All the Rage J Gutierrez 5-2 123
1 Fiesty Lass E Kubinova 15-1 123
2 Angels Can Be Wild Camacho-Flrs 12-1 123
5 Miss Top Nite L Gonzalez 20-1 123
6 Jacobita J Matias 6-1 123
8 Kenzie Carolina C Papineau 5-1 123

Wedge of Gold couldn’t beat 1-10 favorite Seattle Game in her last race, but she should win this race. Famous Jessica was first or second in her first six starts last year, and after a bad race in her first start of 2013, she drops in class. She could turn her form around against this group. All the Rage was claimed out of her last race, just her second start in two years.

7 5 ½ furlongs, purse $13,750, 3-year-olds and up, fillies and mares, claiming $17,500/$15,000

3 Stephanie Plum Camacho-Flrs 7-2 119
2 Touch of Elegance J Matias 2-1 116
4 Cheese Danish D Hoonan 5-1 119
5 Kind of Naughty I Enriquez 5-2 121

River of Aces was cooked in a speed duel in a quality field in her last race. She will have to work for the lead again, but the pace should not be quite as quick. Stephanie Plum is in good form. Touch of Elegance has won 12 times at Emerald Downs.

8 6 furlongs, purse $5,350, 3-year-olds and up, maiden claiming $5,000

2 Fastest Sanguinetti 7-2 124
1 Shuddle D Hoonan 8-1 124
6 Spending J Whitaker 5-2 124
3 Asummerprospect I Enriquez 6-1 124
4 I’m Still Owen M Hagerty 15-1 118
5 Goodlookinggeorge Camacho-Flrs 3-1 124
7 Jimmeny Creek C Papineau 9-2 124

Fastest can improve in his second career start. Shuddle could surprise if he gets a clean break. Spending will be rallying late.

Best bet: Wedge of Gold
