CORVALLIS, Ore. – Emma Wolfram, a 6-foot-5 freshman center, scored a career-high 17 points to lead 11th-seeded Gonzaga to a 76-64 victory over third-seeded Oregon State in the second round of the NCAA women’s tournament Sunday.
Gonzaga (26-7) advances to the round of 16 in the Spokane Regional. The Zags will face the winner of Monday’s game in Knoxville, Tenn., between second-seeded Tennessee (28-5) and 10th-seeded Pittsburgh (20-11).
Gonzaga also was a No. 11 seed in 2011 — and also was competing in the Spokane Regional — when it reached the regional final before losing to top-seeded Stanford.
The Zags scored the final 12 points of the game against Oregon State.

The Beavers (27-5) trailed by 12 points in the second half but roared back to tie the score at 64 with 3:30 remaining on a three-point basket by Jamie Weisner, who is from Clarkston.
Weisner scored a game-high 24 points.
Layups by Sunny Greinacher and Keani Albanez gave Gonzaga a 68-64 lead.
Elle Tinkle, daughter of Oregon State men’s coach Wayne Tinkle, scored 14 points for the Zags, who shot 50 percent from the field. Greinacher and Albanez added 12 points each.

Ally Malott scored 28 points and Amber Deane added 23 to lead the seventh-seeded Flyers to an upset of the No. 2 Wildcats in Lexington, Ky.
Makayla Epps scored 22 of her 29 points in the second half for Kentucky. The Wildcats were without senior Azia Bishop, who was suspended by coach Matthew Mitchell for “failure to uphold team standards.”

Imani McGee-Stafford, who is 6-7, had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the fifth-seeded Longhorns past the No. 4 Golden Bears in Berkeley, Calif.
Mercedes Jefflo led Cal with 22 points.

Bethany Doolittle collected 22 points and 11 rebounds and the third-seeded Hawkeyes, playing at home, beat the No. 11 Hurricanes.
