In an effort to keep up with the cool kids, this is the first of what is supposed to be many podcasts discussing the Mariners and Major League Baseball. In this podcast pilot, venerable columnist Larry Stone discusses his Baseball Hall of Fame ballot, including the candidacy of Edgar Martinez, with Ryan Divish.

The two writers also discuss the Mariners’ roster going into the MLB Baseball Winter Meetings, which begin on Monday at The Gaylord Resort in National Harbor, Maryland. They specifically discuss the recent trade of Taijuan Walker to the Diamondbacks and the many moves of general manager Jerry Dipoto

Any suggestions and input are welcome. This is obviously a work in progress.
