Some possible successors to Jack Zduriencik, who was fired by the Mariners on Friday:
Ken Williams: Was GM of White Sox when they won the 2005 World Series, now the team’s senior executive vice president.
Dan O’Dowd: Was GM of Rockies when they reached the 2007 World Series, now an MLB Network analyst.
Thad Levine: Assistant GM of the Texas Rangers, a “critical” front-office member, according to The Dallas Morning News.
Jason McLeod: A senior vice president who oversees the Cubs’ highly regarded farm system.
Jerry Dipoto: Hired by Red Sox for interim position after being fired as the Angels’ GM this season.
