In case you missed it:

Thursday | Mariners 4, Orioles 2

  • After starting their road trip by getting swept, the Mariners finished it with a four-game sweep of the Orioles — their first ever at Camden Yards, finishing the trip 5-5.
  • Of course, it came down to extra innings. So, of course, the Mariners pulled it out. They’re 8-0 in extras this season.
  • Nelson Cruz stayed hot, recording three hits, including his 21st homer of the season. But it was Dee Gordon whipping around third to score the go-ahead run from first on Jean Segura‘s 10th-inning single.
