In case you missed it:

Wednesday | Mariners 3, Angels 0

  • Marco Gonzales was magnificent again, allowing two hits over seven shutout innings, and handed it over to Alex Colome and Edwin Diaz to smoothly send down the final six outs.
  • Gonzales notched his 10th win, improving to 10-5, becoming the first M’s pitcher this season to double digits and just the 10th starter in team history to reach the mark before the All-Star break.
  • Backup catcher David Freitas hit his first MLB home run to open up the M’s scoring. Turned out, it was all they needed.

7/11: Mariners vs Angels

The Mariners take game two vs. the Angels behind Marco Gonzales' gem. FINAL: 3-0.
