Obviously the announcement isn’t met with quite the hype of the NFL, but on Tuesday, Major League Baseball and its teams announced the upcoming schedule for the 2016 regular season.
After playing at home on opening day this season, the Mariners will be back on the road to start next season. Seattle will play a three-game series at GlobeLife Park in Arlington against the Rangers on April 4-6. After the three-game set, there will be an off day and the Mariners will make their home debut on April 8 against the A’s.
The American League West will be playing the National League Central in interleague play. Seattle will make trips to Wrigley Field and PNC Park in Pittsburgh
