PASCO — Nick Rodriguez broke out of his slump, but that was the only good news for the Everett AquaSox as they dropped a 5-1 decision to Tri-City in Northwest League baseball Monday night.

Rodriguez, playing third for the AquaSox (12-13), had a double and two singles in three at-bats to raise his season average to .179.

Owen Miller paced the Dust Devils (13-12) with three hits and Luke Becker had a triple.
