JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Tristan Jarrett had a career-high 38 points as Jackson State easily defeated Southeastern Baptist 113-67 on Monday night.
Roland Griffin had 17 points and nine rebounds for Jackson State (2-8), which posted season bests with 28 assists and 52 first-half points. Miles Daniels added 11 points and Jayveous McKinnis had 11 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. Jonas James made five assists.
It was the first time this season Jackson State scored more than 100 points.
Je’vah Jones had 21 points for the Chargers. Trajan Fielder added 19 points and Jacobi York had 14 points and three assists.
Jackson State faces Portland on the road on Thursday.
