Keegan Kolesar had a hat trick and Mathew Barzal had five assists as Seattle crushed the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings 7-2 in a WHL game Tuesday night before 5,057 at ShoWare Center in Kent.

Kolesar scored 57 seconds apart in the third period to complete his hat trick after a second-period goal.

Seattle center Barzal was a plus-two and assisted on all but the first and last Seattle goals.

Ethan Bear had one goal and two assists.

Seattle goaltender Taz Burman made 26 saves.

The T-birds scored three goals apiece in the second and third periods.

Jamal Watson, Ryan Gropp and Kaden Elder also scored goals for Seattle.

Reid Duke and Rihards Bukarts scored goals for the Wheat Kings.
