Sockeyes? Totems? These registered domain names might hint at a potential Seattle hockey team name

After swimming more than 900 miles to reach its spawning grounds – just around the bend from this trap  –  a Snake River sockeye is captured to use its genes in a captive population. 

Sockeye who have all made the 900 mile trip from the Pacific ocean sit in the fish holding box at the base of Redfish Lake Creek after being captured in the weir.
