Girls and boys basketball teams divided by the North and South will play each other Saturday.
The Puget Sound’s best girls and boys basketball players will compete for bragging rights Saturday at Highline College. The second annual Throwdown features North Sound players of all grades competing against the South Sound.
The girls game tips at 2 p.m. and the boys follow at 4 p.m.
Among the girls representing the North are Garfield sophomore Dalayah Daniels, Archbishop Murphy senior Megan Dorney and Woodinville junior Madison DuBois, who led their teams to state tournament runner-up titles. Among the South boys are Federal Way seniors Etan Collins and Marcus Austin, who also were state tournament runner-ups.
