The Washington State Soccer Coaches Association released its All-State team Tuesday, and Roosevelt’s Avery Jacobson was named the Class 3A state player of the year.

Jacobson led the Roughriders to a No. 5 national ranking and into the state championship game, where they lost to Garfield and coach Carlos Enriquez. Enriguez was named Class 3A state coach of the year.

Mountlake Terrace’s Bobby Stoyanov was named the Class 2A state player of the year. Stoyanov was named The Seattle Times’ Star Times player of the year after record-breaking career and season. He scored 80 goals in his career and 47 as a senior, including eight in a single game.
