Senior helped cap a 22-7 season as Class 3A state tournament runner-ups.
Rainier Beach senior Trevante Anderson announced Friday via his Twitter account he signed to continue his basketball career at the University of San Francisco. The 6-foot-1 point guard joins Vikings starters Kevin Porter Jr. (USC) and Freddy Roberson (Eastern Washington) as players to sign Division I scholarships, the latter committing to play football.

Anderson, a transfer from Lincoln in Tacoma, helped lead Beach (22-7) to the Class 3A boys basketball state championship game. He finished with 27 points and eight rebounds in the overtime loss to Garfield for the title.
