Kentridge beat previous No. 1 Tahoma, which falls to No. 2 in the poll by the state coaches association.
The Kentridge Chargers took over the top spot in the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association weekly state poll, released Tuesday.
Kentridge is 14-0 after Monday’s 3-0 win over Kennedy Catholic. The Chargers knocked off the previous No. 1, Tahoma, 3-2 earlier this month. Tahoma (11-1) falls to No. 2, giving the North Puget Sound League the top teams in Class 4A.
