Shortstop Kenji Suzuki is part of the Crusaders' promising returnees preparing to defend the Metro League crown.
Eastside Catholic freshman Kenji Suzuki secured his future goals. The infielder announced late Monday he committed to play baseball at Clemson.
Suzuki utilized his performance at the Perfect Game 15U World Series in Georgia to solidify interest. Scouts noted the shortstop “showed good athleticism and actions as well as intriguing hitting tools.”
Eastside Catholic won the Metro League title last season. The Crusaders went on to lose in the regional round of the Class 3A state tournament.
