VANCOUVER, B.C. The Everett Silvertips suffered their second straight loss last night, falling 4-2 to the Vancouver Giants in Western Hockey League action.
Vancouver’s Gilbert Brule scored on a power play at 3:38 of the first. Mitch Bartley pushed the lead to 2-0 with a goal at 10:27.
Ryan Blatchford put the Silvertips (17-10-5-2) on the board at 12:18 of the second.
Tyler Dietrich scored the other Everett goal at 7:51 of the second period. But Tim Kraus scored for Vancouver at 16:43, giving the Giants the lead for good.

Records: Everett is 17-10-5-2, second in the U.S. Division. Portland is 14-15-2-4, third in the U.S. Division.
