Alexis DeBoer went 3 for 3 with two solo home runs, and Washington capped the regular season with an 8-0 run-rule win over host Penn State on Sunday.

DeBoer became the seventh Husky to hit 20 or more home runs in a season and just the second freshman to accomplish the feat.

Riley Peschek hit a three-run home run, Jade Bubke had an RBI double and Jadyn Glab added a two-run double for Washington (34-16, 12-9 Big Ten).

Morgan Reimer pitched her third complete-game shutout to pick up her 15th win of the season. Reimer struck out three batters and allowed just two hits with no walks.

Washington will next enter the Big Ten tournament as a No. 7 seed and will face No. 10 Indiana at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday in West Lafayette, Ind.

The winner will take on No. 2 seed UCLA on Thursday.

COLLEGE BASEBALL

• Washington was held to just three hits and fell to visiting Iowa 8-0 to close out the three-game series.

AJ Guerrero had two hits, including a double, and Casen Taggart added a double for the Huskies (27-22, 15-9 Big Ten), who won the series 2-1.

Washington will host Warner Pacific for one game on Monday before opening a three-game series at Oregon on Friday.

Will Cresswell homered, tripled and drove in two runs to help Washington State to a 10-2 rout over visiting Air Force to close a three-game series.

Ollie Obenour homered and drove in two runs, and Griffin Myers and Jack Weise added two hits each for the Cougars (17-29, 10-14 MWC), who won the series 2-1.

Washington State will next travel for a game against Seattle U on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Tervell Johnson hit a two-run home run, but visiting Seattle U lost to Utah Tech 7-3 in the rubber match of a three-game series.

Michael Tsoukalas went 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored for the Redhawks (16-29, 5-13 WAC).

MINOR BASEBALL

• Making his first rehab start for the Mariners, George Kirby allowed one run on one hit and struck out four in the Tacoma Rainiers’ 6-4 loss to host Las Vegas.

Dominic Canzone homered twice and drove in three runs, and Cole Young had two hits and an RBI for Tacoma (11-22).

Michael Arroyo homered twice, and Colt Emerson and Tai Peete also went deep to lead the Everett AquaSox to a 10-8 win over host Eugene.

Jonny Farmelo tripled and drove in two runs for Everett (11-16).
