Talon Ridge will unveil its first completed model home, the Tacoma, at a grand-opening event on Sept. 22.
BOTHELL — Talon Ridge will unveil its first completed model home, the Tacoma, at its “Savor the Summer” grand-opening event on Sept. 22 from noon to 5 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres will be served, and there will be kids’ activities, including a mini-train ride around the community and a visit from Star Wars characters.
Visitors can explore the fully decorated Tacoma’s 3,172 square feet of living space, including its open great room and kitchen, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and luxury outdoor living area.
“Homebuyers will be able to see the amazing possibilities in outdoor living,” says Anne-Vija Nelson, the community sales manager. “The Tacoma’s outdoor space invites through expansive 16-foot multi-sliding glass doors, extending the look of the interior to the exterior. There is a covered patio with a large dining area and a beautiful stone fireplace, perfect for entertaining throughout the year.”
Elizabeth Moody of Ryan Young Interiors provided the Tacoma’s design vision, incorporating a textural contemporary style.
“It has a farmhouse feeling, which is really trending right now, with an edge,” says Moody. “Everything is tone-on-tone with black accents.”
Design details include grooved shiplap on the walls and ceilings, rustic stained beams, and woven and textural fabrics.
“All of these details are mixed throughout, including in the master bedroom with its stained beams tracing the ceiling and beautiful symmetric tile on the headboard wall,” says Moody. “The master bath feels like a spa with its dual-sink vanity, soaking tub, separate shower and two enormous walk-in closets. The whole suite feels really serene and comfortable, like you’re on vacation.”
Additional features include a second-floor loft designed as a creative space, ideal for homework or art projects. There are two auxiliary bedrooms, one designed as a lacrosse room for a young boy and the other with a Parisian flair, for a young girl.
“Overall, the home has a relaxed, beautiful look,” says Moody, “Everything is seamless, tonal, textural and comfortable.”
Nelson says all presale homes at Talon Ridge afford the opportunity for personalization. Homebuyers can gather design insight as they tour the community’s model, as well as in complimentary consultations with professional designers at the Kirkland Design Studio.
Those who purchase a home by Sept. 30, during the Toll Brothers’ National Sales event, can take advantage of $20,000 in incentives on Design Studio upgrades, rate buy-downs or on closing costs. There is an additional $30,000 rate incentive available on two homesites, the Aldwell on homesite 23 and the Meadows on homesite 2. These homes will be move-in ready in October.
Served by the Northshore School District, Talon Ridge is within five minutes of downtown Bothell and its many restaurants and coffee shops.
