RENTON — The Cedarcroft community will unveil its first model home during a block-party-themed event on July 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will include barbecue food, Sweet Wheels ice cream sandwiches, family-oriented outdoor activities, special giveaways and tours of the newly decorated model home.

“Visitors will get to walk through the model home, which is really breathtaking,” says Kristi Brewer, the community sales manager. “It has a very warm vibe with a relaxed contemporary look and feel.”

Built by Toll Brothers and featuring its Tacoma floor plan, the 3,167-square-foot home was designed by Liz Moody of Ryan Young Interiors. The overall color scheme is natural white, with accents of chartreuse and hints of black throughout.

“We have a marble detail at the entry with a chevron pattern, as well as carved out niches for high-contrast abstract art that drive the direction of the home,” says Moody.

Adjacent to the entry, there is a formal living and dining space. A foyer leads to the back the home, which opens to a great-room concept. The kitchen has toffee-colored cabinets, quartz countertops and an island with waterfall edges and overhanging black globe lights. A walk-in pantry is another kitchen highlight.

In the great room, a modern linear fireplace is a focal point, surrounded by white slab and wood accents. “It really makes a statement,” says Moody. “It has a boutique hospitality look, and that’s something we’ve never done before.”

The Toll Brothers National Sales Event continues through July 29 and offers homebuyers at Cedarcroft 50 percent off upgrades up to $50,000.

There is also a first-floor guestroom for overnight visitors and extended family stays. “This room brings in the natural tones featured in the great room. We have a beautiful wooden headboard wall with a horizontal metal design. It’s rich and warm and beautiful,” says Moody. “All the other furnishings are light and white, so it feels very fresh.”

A contemporary glass staircase leads residents upstairs to a loft landing with a reading alcove that is lined with cabinetry for books. Hardwood flooring extends throughout this floor.

Design features of the master bedroom include a white tile headboard with a textural pattern resembling raindrops, silver hanging light fixtures, large toffee-colored ceiling beams, a four-poster canopy bed and oversize chests as nightstands.

There are two additional rooms upstairs: one decorated as a boy’s room with an architect theme, and the other is a girl’s room with an owl motif.

“It’s very exciting because it’s the first time homebuyers can see something complete [at Cedarcroft],” says Brewer. “Homebuyers who buy now can take advantage of the Toll Brothers National Sales Event, which is a huge benefit. It’s 50 percent off upgrades up to $50,000 through July 29.”

All presale homes at Toll Brothers are available for personalization. Homebuyers are invited to meet with a professional designer at the Kirkland Design Studio to choose paint colors, hardware, lighting and other details.

Cedarcroft is located within minutes of I-405 for access to several major employment centers, including Boeing, Starbucks, Amazon and T-Mobile. It is served by the Issaquah School District.
