Talon Ridge consists of 32 single-family homes in a variety of contemporary and classic designs.
BOTHELL — Talon Ridge, a community of new single-family homes, recently opened within five minutes of Bothell’s revitalized downtown. The shopping and dining district features cafés, restaurants, antique shops, breweries and bakeries.
“The downtown has that old historic feel, and it’s very walkable — a nice, safe place to spend an evening, have a meal or view the boutique shops,” says Robert Brown, the community sales manager at Talon Ridge. “Homebuyers will have the unique experience to see the transformation firsthand as more restaurants and shops are scheduled to open soon.”
Talon Ridge consists of 32 single-family homes in a variety of contemporary and classic designs, including some with main-floor bedrooms, spacious basements and outdoor-living options. Homes range in size from nearly 3,000 to 4,500 square feet and include four to six bedrooms and open great rooms.
Brown says three homes will be finished by the end of December, including one with a “show-stopping Meadows Contemporary design.”
The Meadows has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a three-car garage, and spans 3,507 square feet. The kitchen includes a center island, walk-in pantry and attached dining area.
Among the home’s highlights is the bright and airy two-story great room with 18-foot-tall ceilings and expansive windows, which lend a feeling of grandeur and bring in abundant natural light. There is also a first-floor bedroom that is convenient for live-in guests or as a home office.
Upstairs, a catwalk atop the great room creates a striking design element with a unique bird’s-eye view of the activity below. There are three second-floor bedrooms, including a master suite with two walk-in closets, a large bathroom suite and a convenient laundry space.
Homebuyers at Talon Ridge are encouraged to personalize their homes. They are provided two complimentary sessions with a professional designer at the Kirkland Design Studio, where everything from flooring to paint colors to lighting packages are on the table for discussion, Brown says.
“The design specialist works to understand each buyer’s specific taste, offering unique perspective and guidance to ensure the home reflects their needs and wishes,” he says.
Served by the Northshore School District, Talon Ridge is minutes from access to SR-522 for access to employment centers in Seattle and Bellevue. The peaceful setting is encircled by more than 3.5 acres of protected open space and mature trees.
Homesites range from 6,500 to 14,000 square feet.
“Our homeowners will enjoy wonderful, spacious backyards,” says Brown. “There’s abundant green space, and some homes have no homes behind them. Our outdoor living spaces also encourage people to live in and out. They have big glass sliders and covered patios that allow them to enjoy every inch of their surroundings.”
