Cedarcroft is a new neighborhood of 27 homes being built in the Renton Highlands.
RENTON — Cedarcroft, a new neighborhood of 27 homes in the Renton Highlands, has released two homes for sale that will be available for move-in this fall.
The two-story Ballard Shingle will be ready for occupancy in September. The 3,238-square-foot home is situated on 8,095 square feet of land.
“We have very large, very usable homesites at Cedarcroft that range from 8,000 to 12,000 square feet, which is almost impossible to come by in a new home,” says Kristi Brewer, the community sales manager.
The Ballard Shingle has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a two-car garage. It has stone detailing on the façade, and is the only floor plan with a covered balcony on the second floor.
The home has an open kitchen featuring double-stacked white Shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops and KitchenAid appliances, including a five-burner gas stove. It has a large center island that seats four to five people, and overlooks the great room.
“Everyone is just loving the great room concept,” says Brewer. “What’s more, the whole open entertaining area will have hardwood flooring, including the kitchen, great room and dining room.”
Another convenient feature is the main-floor bedroom suite, which can used as a guest quarters or home office. The home’s three additional bedrooms are upstairs, including a master suite with a large walk-in closet and a master bath with a 6-foot soaking tub with tile surround, two vanities and a separate shower with a bench.
“There’s a very large loft bonus space upstairs,” says Brewer. “It’s big enough to actually be two separate spaces. You could do a TV room and a play room with a pool table. Or just make it one large bonus space.”
Available in October will be a home with the Tacoma Traditional floor plan. It has four bedrooms and three baths.
Brewer encourages homebuyers to visit the community now to do a hard-hat tour of the homes and take advantage of pre-model pricing. “Getting in before we finish our model home in July offers a definite cost-savings for homebuyers,” she says.
In addition to the quick-delivery homes, Cedarcroft offers a range of other floor plans with up to five bedrooms, available for personalization at the Kirkland Design Studio.
“Homeowners are invited to choose everything from custom paint colors to hardware to make their home uniquely their own,” Brewer says.
Cedarcroft is served by Briarwood Elementary, Maywood Middle and Liberty High Schools in the Issaquah School District. It is within minutes of I-405 for access to major employment centers, including Boeing. The shopping, dining and retail offerings at The Landing can be reached in 15 minutes.
“We have a nice flat terrain here, making it a great place for a run,” says Brewer. “Cedarcroft is very close to the Cedar River Trail for a nature walk or bike ride. It is within walking distance from our community.”
