KIRKLAND — Visitors to Rosehaven at Bradford Place can celebrate the grand opening of its decorated model home at a gold-medal-themed event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Sunday.

While the world celebrates the Winter Olympics, guests at Rosehaven at Bradford Place can enjoy snacks of champions, a beverage ice luge, and a caricature artist to place you on the podium.

Featuring the builder’s Shoreline design, the model home showcases a bold contemporary exterior with a matching interior design, says Liz Moody of Ryan Young Interiors, the home’s decorator.

“We’ve designed the model home to mimic the architecture with a stylish, modern look,” says Moody. “It features a high-contrast white, black and camel color palette with touches of blush throughout, playing off the neighborhood’s name, Rosehaven. It’s absolutely gorgeous.”

Highlights begin in the foyer, which faces a striking curved staircase with a designer chandelier. The stairwell was designed with cut-out shelving made for displaying photos, books and accessories.

The dining room features a built-in wine bar and abstract black-and-white metal sunburst lighting. This room blends into the open kitchen, which has an island with white quartz countertops, black cabinetry and contemporary floating shelves.

The kitchen faces the great room, which has a double-sided fireplace framed with white textural tile and black sconces. The fireplace can be enjoyed from the outdoor living area, outfitted with a contemporary concrete bench, lounge chairs, a table and planters.

Moving upstairs, there is an open loft with a sectional and built-in TV wall, as well as study or work nook with space to charge and store devices. The hallway leading to the master bedroom has a high-contrast black wooden wall and white hanging pendants that pop from above.

This look is carried into the master bedroom, with its black wooden headboard wall, contemporary black molding and white pendant accents. The master bathroom is light and bright with white countertops and iridescent tiles.

There are three auxiliary rooms upstairs, each decorated in playful kids’ themes: an ice hockey room with a custom locker room bench and cubbies, a mountain biking room with a corrugated metal headboard wall, and a photography room with photo shelves and a chandelier.

“We have other homes available that are the exact same floor plan and exterior design as the model,” says community sales manager Rita Pettit, “allowing homebuyers who like this floor plan to personalize their own.”

Buyers at Rosehaven at Bradford Place will have the opportunity to work with a professional designer from the Kirkland Design Studio to personalize their home. They can choose custom paint colors and hardware, designer lighting and window treatments.

Rosehaven at Bradford Place is nestled in the Rose Hill neighborhood. It is less than five minutes from I-405 and within close proximity to Kirkland and Redmond. The community is served by the Lake Washington School District and is within walking distance of Lake Washington High School.
