The death of a woman whose body was found last week in a retention pond near the Snohomish River has been ruled a suicide, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman has been identified as Bouaphan Na, 66.

Her body was discovered in the pond around 1 a.m. Wednesday near the 4500 block of Lowell Snohomish River Road.

Na’s unlocked car was parked nearby and her keys and identification were inside, the sheriff’s office said.
