Get your best, breathable summer outfit ready Thursday, as Seattle is in for what might be its warmest day so far in 2025.

Temperatures will hit the upper 70s in the Seattle area and even reach 80s in places like Chehalis and along Interstate 90 in the North Bend area, said National Weather Service meteorologist Maddie Kristell.

But first, a weak, dissipating front will bring some light rain over the Seattle area later on Monday into Tuesday morning, Kristell said Monday morning. “It’s really not going to be anything too impressive, but it will keep the temperatures cooler.”

Expect a high of 60 those two days before the sun returns on Wednesday and temperatures begin to climb to the upper 60s.

Seattle has been notably sunny so far this April. We’ve gotten below average rainfall, Kristell said, with only 2.36 inches this month, compared to a normal 3.18 inches by this point.

But as May begins, Seattle area could get some rain Friday, though the timing isn’t certain, Kristell said. Temperatures will remain warm though, she said.
