Dreary? Not Seattle. Well, at least not Thursday and Friday, with expected highs in the upper 60s, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Patchy morning fog Thursday should burn off to partly cloudy skies later in the day.

Seattle is tied with Buffalo as the dreariest city in the United States, based on a combination of total precipitation, wet days and cloudiness, according to a study released last week of weather patterns. Portland  and Pittsburgh, Pa., tied for second.

Friday should be nice as well with a chance of showers into the evening and overnight. The weekend looks to be mostly cloudy with highs around 60.
